The Center for Small Entrepreneurs (CSE)
...a non-government organization with the primary thrust of promoting entrepreneurship and enhancing the development of micro and small enterprises, is committed to building the capacities and capabilities of micro and small entrepreneurs, and thus empowering them to grow their enterprise responsibly and to promote their own interests and welfare.
KA-ENTREP…The Program
The Ka-ENTREP program is one of the efforts of CSE to prepare the micro-entrepreneurs to the challenging task of representing their sector soon and to deepen their commitment to enterprise development and responsible entrepreneurship.
The program will enhance the micro-entrepreneurs' capacities to organize themselves and to encourage them to help fellow entrepreneurs while managing their own enterprises for growth, sustainability and change! Ka-Entrep is a sure avenue for entrepreneurial information gathering as well.
Organized on November 30, 2004, the Ka-Entrep Micro and Small Entrepreneurs Organization of the Philippines, Inc. now boasts of 209 active members who had undergone the Value Formation Seminar.
The micro-entrepreneurs’ organization was legally established on November 16, 2007.
Micro-entrepreneurs can develop themselves and grow to be genuine small entrepreneurs if given the opportunity, assistance, proper resources and support. CSE believes this can be done ONLY if an association of micro-entrepreneurs is formed for the promotion of their welfare and interests. But, there is a need to prepare physically, mentally, socially and entrepreneurially. ONLY THEN, can the micro-entrepreneurs be truly heard and empowered.
